Fort Belvoir Home Educators is a homeschool support group for military and DoD families dedicated to the home education of our children. We are committed to providing support and encouragement to one another and creating an environment that children of all ages can come to participate in classes, field trips, and parties, alongside their friends. It's also a venue for parents to come together to share talents, ideas, and issues related to homeschooling.

We are a member-driven group that runs on parent participation and volunteering.  Some of the many things that our group has been able to do because of parent volunteers:

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:

• Holiday parties, Bowling, Swimming, Lego Club, Running Club, and Teen Events.

ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES:

• Field Trips, Co-Op, Special Events.

SUPPORT ACTIVITIES:

• Mom's Coffee, Park Days, Curriculum Swaps.

OTHER:

• ITBS Testing, Yearbook, Seasonal Parties, Parent’s Night Out, and Kennedy center student ticket program.

Fort Belvoir Home Educators provides the perfect opportunity for children to grow and develop wonderful relationships as well as a much-needed place of encouragement and friendship for homeschooling Moms (and Dads!)
