MINISTRIES AND ACTIVITIES
Monthly Mom's Meetings:
Once per month ETC holds a meeting in the evening intended for fellowship, support and information on some aspect of home education or discipling our children using non-traditional means. These are open to member home educators and their guests and accompanying nursing/lap babies.
The Consortium:
The Consortium is a day of classes offered through ETC for members' children. Classes are taught by member parents and by community teachers. They are held on Wednesdays for 8 week quarters. Fellowship Opportunities and Educational Clubs and Activities:
The Leadership and Members of ETC plan activities according the interest expressed through the planning surveys and discussion on the loop, as time and opportunity allows. Check the calendar on the website for a complete list of upcoming events. You can also get an update delivered to your email inbox through the weekly newsletter. The pages on the members' side of the website describe the clubs, classes, field trips and activities in more detail.
Website and Forums:
The website offers a place to get all the information on upcoming events and opportunities. The website makes sign-ups easy and members may pay fees via paypal. Opportunities for further fellowship and shared discussions and prayer requests exist through the yahoo group. The website also hosts a online directory, event and member photos, and many other benefits. This is for members only, however a public side of the website exists for non-members to learn more about ETC, about non-traditional homeschooling, and about community events in the area.
