WHO: All CHET-SE members AND those who are interested in learning more about our group or joining for the first time
WHEN: Tuesday, Aug 31st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
WHERE: Christ Community Church at Pantano and Kenyon
Join us to learn about groups, clubs, and the numerous opportunities available for the new year. Meet new friends, see old ones, and enjoy some refreshments. Pick up your membership packets and get registered for CHET-SE!
Welcome to the website of Christian Home Educators of Tucson - South East.
We are an organization whose goal is to encourage and equip each other in effectively training our children at home. We would love for you to join us! CHET-SE does not advocate or oppose a parent’s choice to use public, charter, or private school, or any specific home education curricula. However, according to our charter, CHET-SE is an organization and resource for parents of homeschoolers.
CHET-SE exists to provide support to homeschooling families.
How to Become a Member
To become a CHET-SE member for the 2010-2011 school year, please send these three (3) completed forms to Rachel Hullin:
1) Registration Form - now 2 pages
2) Statement of Faith & Eligibility** Form
3) Permission & Release Form
**Eligibility = meets AFHE definition of homeschooler.
Also bring a completed print out of the SKA (PE) registration form to SKA (PE) at the park if you plan on participating.
Please take the time to read our Dress Code and Conduct Guidelines. This is important in maintaining the unity in our group.
Remember also to file an Affidavit of Intent for Home School with Pima County School Superintendent's Office

2) For registered members of CHET-SE, the secure or "private" side of this site has pages devoted to clubs, events, a monthly calendar, a family directory, classifieds and more.
If you would like to become a member and gain access to the private section of our site, you will need to send these three (3) completed forms, along with your payment, to Rachel Hulin.
