Since 1989, Eastside Explorers, a Christ-Centered homeschool support group, has offered activities, mentoring and fellowship to homeschooling families. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in agreement with the definition of homeschooling as outlined by our state organization, Arizona Families for Home Education (www.afhe.org). See What is Homeschooling? page for more information. Our member families live in the northeast valley (Scottsdale and Northeast Phoenix). Membership applications will be accepted from families living east of 7th St., north of Thomas Rd., and west of 136th St.. These boundaries are not meant to exclude anyone, but to allow us to best serve our members. See www.afhe.org for support groups in your area.
Membership in Eastside Explorers is contingent upon each family's compliance with Arizona law and Board approval. Only one membership will be granted per family.
