Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Bible to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15; 2 Peter 1:21).
2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1-2; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30).
3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is God the Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin; His sinless life; His miracles; His vicarious and atoning death; His resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of God the Father where He intercedes for His people; and His personal, visible return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11, Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; Hebrews 4:15, 7:26, John 2:11; Isaiah 53:4-6; 1 Peter 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Mark 16:19; Hebrews 7:25).
4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24; Romans 3:23; 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5).
5. We believe that God wonderfully creates each person as male or female; that the Bible condemns any form of sexual immorality, and that Christians must adhere to and practice biblical standards of morality. Moral misconduct includes, but is not necessarily limited to, promiscuity, homosexuality, bisexuality, polygamy, and transgenderism.
