We are a group of families who are very passionate about educating our children. We want to encourage and support other families who homeschool.
Christian Family Home Education Association of Dallas (H.E.A.D.) is a non-profit home school support group organized to promote and encourage families in their efforts to educate their children.
We are unashamedly Christian. Our Christian faith is expressed in our HEAD Statement of Faith and in the way we live our lives, conduct our meetings, and lead events.
We are all volunteers. We have a Board of Directors, Field Trip Coordinators, newsletter contributors, Library helpers, Yearbook Coordinator, Yearbook committee, Graduation Coordinator, Sports Coordinators, and more. Phew! As you can tell, we’re run from the inside. It’s the parents and kids who get involved that make our organization fun and worthwhile.
We provide group activities for homeschool families. We are a busy group, thanks to our members who volunteer.

We are a community. We are blessed to have different people from different backgrounds with children of different ages taking different approaches to home schooling. We have one thing in common, however… we all home school. We become friends not just members of the same association. We are there to support each other through struggles, frustrations, burn-out and trials. We also rejoice with each other as we watch our children excel, overcome obstacles, express their gifts and talents and eventually graduate.
