Serving Home Schoolers in Dallas and its surrounding cities.
SWDHSA is now DasCHE
Dallas Christian Home Educators
During its final association business meeting in May, our Board announced the transition of SWDHSA into a new organizational structure now called DasCHE (pronounced Dash). All services, benefits and opportunities in this association remain the same as under SWDHSA.
Families interested in participating in our Scholastic Cooperative are required to attend a Family Information Meeting. A Family Information Meeting is just that, for information purposes only. June 4 and July 9 are the two remaining Family Meeting Dates for families interested in participting this coming academic year.
For further information about our Scholastic Cooperative and its classes, click on the co-op tab on the upper left.
Our first association meeting for the new academic year will be Tuesday, September 1st at 6:00 at Faith Bible Church, 1437 W. Pleasant Run Road in DeSoto. This meeting will be combined with the Co-op Orientation.

Some of the forms on this website need Acrobat Reader to view, download, and print out. Click on the link to download it free.
You will also see as you click around that we are not a group that prefers isolation to community. In fact, we are just the opposite. This organization was founded over thirty years ago and has grown to provide services for most aspects of the home school experience.
WHO ARE WE?
In addition to fellowship and mutual support our association provides a Scholastic Cooperative as an enhancement to individual parental teachings. We also have monthly meetings at which outside speakers give practical advice to our member families. There are many more avenues by which this organization is of service to our families; curriculum advice, group field trips, a monthly newsletter, music training, honor societies, teen activities, even our own baseball team.
There is quite a bit more information available on this site’s private pages but they can only be accessed by Association members. However, visitors can attend our Association meetings since they are all open to the public and we encourage you to do so.
As you will see, we at DasCHE are parents who have decided to educate our children at home as opposed to sending them off to the care of state-sponsored educators and administrators. In particular, we have decided to place Christian principals as the bedrock of our mission and that mission is bringing up our children in a way that is pleasing to God.
