Katie has been married to her best friend, Samuel, for almost 14 years and together they have 4 kids (Ruth 7th, Nathanael 6th, Malachi 5th, and Asher 3rd). They became Hoosiers in the fall of 2022 and found a church in Valpo to call home. The Foremans started their homeschooling journey when their oldest was just a tiny tot and each year has only gotten sweeter. As a family, they love to travel, explore the outdoors, kayak, trek National (and state) parks, work on their homestead, cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoy family tournaments involving ultimate frisbee and wiffle ball in the backyard. When Katie is not helping with lessons or preparing food for bottomless tummies you can usually find her outside soaking up the sunshine. She cherishes quiet time in the morning before the day turns crazy, freshly roasted coffee beans made into a delicious latte and tacos with extra salsa, guacamole and cilantro.
