Additional Information
Please join other homeschool families for a self guided tour of the "Butterflies are Blooming" at Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park on Friday, March 26 from 1:00 to 4:00. The cost is $4.00 per student (2 and under are free); $6.00 per adults (this price point worked well the last time as they have a tiered charge for adults). The deadline to sign up is March 18th.
The annual Fred & Dorothy Fichter "Butterflies Are Blooming" exhibition at Meijer Gardens is the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the nation. Tropical butterflies from around the world fly freely in the Tropical Conservatory. Admission price includes the butterfly exhibit in addition to the Gardens & Sculpture Park.
We will meet as a group just outside the main entrance, at 12:45 to get instructions for the self-guided tour (there is usually a sign that says HEART). Each family is then welcome to explore for as long as they would like. Please see their Covid policy information below. Masks indoors required, when you are outside in the garden/sculpture park masks are not required.
