BACKGROUND CHECKS: Please note that a background check is required for ALL families who attend Watermark. Because Watermark parents are required to stay on campus while their students are in classes, this is for the safety of each child at Watermark.

The cost of background checks for TWO adults is included in your family registration fee. These two adults are the legal parents of the child. If any other guardians will be consistently or frequently bringing your student to Watermark, the background cost for these adults (neighbors, grandparents, etc.) will be at the expense of the family. (Please note that a background check will not be required for someone who is not consistently bringing your child to Watermark.)

Please check the box to acknowledge the Background Checks policy. (More information will be provided and requested once Watermark begins the process of the checks.) If you are unable or unwilling to complete a background check at this time, we will be unable to move forward with the application process.

Please hold your students accountable for their behavior, especially as we have had some concerns raised about some of the running and loud noise, We want our students to enjoy their time at Watermark and with their friends, but it is imperative that we respect the rules and working environment of the space we have been graciously allowed to use.

I understand that this is a working environment and will ensure that the church staff and others can enjoy it as such by enforcing with my children such standards as no running in the hall or lobby; not yelling in any part of the building; not roughhousing in the church, etc.

Service Roles/Volunteering

Every family is required to serve at Watermark. Serving is not only biblical, but we've found that the people who serve the most are the ones who get the most out of Watermark.  When you connect and give to those around you, you also benefit greatly.

Our Serving Process has 2 steps:

Step 1- Pick 1 option from the "Weekly Help" needs

  1.  Teacher Assistant
  2.  A "year-long" role (such as sign-in table, clean up crew, Snack shack Help, Soccer escort, etc)
  3. Choose a Full Day to Serve (1 day out of the year, your family is the "on-call" volunteer to help with various tasks on campus)

Step 2 - Pick an Event to help with

There are many roles for events such as setup/tear down, greeters, lobby help, and many more.  Additional information regarding your service/volunteer role will be provided throughout the registration process and the various meetings leading up to the start of classes.

Failure to fully complete the volunteer requirements will result in a $250 charge.  If you wish to completely opt out of volunteering, there is a $500 "Volunteer Opt-out fee" that will be added as an invoice to your account. Failure to pay this invoice by the specified date will result in expulsion until paid.

*Note for Parents who utilize the Florida Choice Scholarships: Volunteer Waiver fees are not eligible for reimbursements.

33.

There are many ways to serve at Watermark; If you feel you can serve the Watermark community with gifts, talents, and passions other than what we have listed, we would love to hear from you. Please list your idea(s) here:
