Your 1st-8th graders are invited to join us for a fun filled day exploring the universe, the human body, and an art project. 5th-8th graders will also enjoy exploring math through hands-on activities and games with a group of math whizzes from Clemson University, as well as a fun-filled Simple Machines science class. 1st-3rd graders will also enjoy a class called Scaly Adventures. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
- April 7th, 9:00-2:30. Check in at 8:45 a.m.
- $10 per UHC student / $12 per non-UHC student Drop your payment off at Command Central through the last day of co-op on March 31st in an envelope with your child’s name and grade
- Bring a lunch!
- Volunteers are also needed for this event to stay all day with a specific class, and each volunteer gets one child in for free!
- April 7th is our first Current member registration day. This will help your children have something to do while you work out registration! Space is limited. If you are volunteering and also need to register, we will work out a plan with you.

SCALY ADVENTURES
Students will “take a walk on the wild side” with an exciting Scaly Adventures live animals presentation.
THE UNIVERSE
Explore the solar system with hands on activities that go along with last semester’s elementary science classes.
THE HUMAN BODY
Elementary students will continue this semester’s science course with fun-filled projects that they didn’t get a chance to explore earlier in the semester.
ART
Students will create art projects in various mediums.
MATH
Middle schoolers are privileged to attend a math class taught by a group of math whizzes from Clemson University. Hands-on stations that cater to a variety of levels of math understanding promise to make
math fun.
HUMAN ANATOMY
Older middle schoolers will continue their semester of study of Human Anatomy, while lower middle
schoolers will get an introduction with fun projects.
SIMPLE MACHINES
An exciting class exploring physics through simple machines for middle schoolers.
