Families can meet behind the Nature Center building on the trail, and we will head out on the trail by 10:45am.  The main group can stick to the paved paths, the crushed limestone paths or a combination of both, so strollers are welcomed.  Feel free to bring binoculars for birding, and we may see deer as they are a regular visitors within the park.

Teen Group: You are free to go off separately (paved or non-paved) but staying on-trail is required by the Joliet Park District. You will be provided with maps. Please plan accordingly so you can meet back at the Nature Center by noon.

There are outdoor picnic tables by the Nature Center building where we can luncheon.  Bathrooms with running water are available, however, masks are required to enter the building.  The Nature Center hours are currently listed as 10am -2pm, so you'll have the option of seeing the museum and visiting the giftshop if you'd like.
