DRHG SCIENCE FAIR 2022

Calling all scientists! We are excited to invite our students to participate in our 2022 Science Fair! This event will feature our Student Council Chili Cook Off Fundraiser and annual Science Fair. Come prepared to eat some delicious chili or soup and check out some of our students' amazing work! This is a great time to invite family members and friends to see some of your childrens' hard work. Even if you aren't able to participate with an experiment, mark your calendar and come out to enjoy the event.

Who: Homeschool students 2nd grade and up

What: This Science Fair is for students in 2nd grade and up to display their work and explore science projects done by other homeschooled children.  4th, 5th and MS/HS will be the only age groups being judged. If your student would like to pair up with a friend or sibling, that is OK, however, students participating as part of their class grade may not do a group project. Students paired of differing ages will be judged in the older child's category for award consideration.

Pick something that you enjoy. Just about anything, can be turned into a science project! Do you like music, building things, and/ or living things? Find something you like and then design a project around it. If you don't want to do that try googling it. One site to check out is: www.sciencebuddies.org/science-fair-projects. Please make sure to read the attached file with additional details, but don't let it overwhelm you! Have fun with this process and reach out to us if you have questions!
