The guidelines within our Participation Policy will help you to understand the expectations of being a part of this group. The Board of Directors reserves the right to change policies and procedures without notice.
All families should read the guidelines thoroughly before joining Home Grown Homeschoolers Inc. (HGH). Understanding how we function and what your responsibilities will be can help you determine if HGH is the right fit for you and your family. Your signature on the member registration form indicates that you and your family have read, understand, and will abide by these policies and procedures. Your membership indicates your commitment to participate in activities with HGH for the year.
Participation Policy
Every registered family is required to participate consistently. We are a "cooperative" which means that we function solely off of parent participation. Members participate by attending at least 2 Home Grown events (Co-ops and/or field trips) in a 30 day period. If for reason of illness or emergent reasons causing absences for extended periods, I agree to communicate my absence with the Board. I understand if my family is not consistent with participation our membership will be canceled; considered null and void. Once your membership is canceled, the registration fee is non-refundable and if you would like to rejoin the group, you will have to re-apply and pay the membership fee again
