Mrs. Amy Sheppard
I grew up in Connecticut and moved to North Carolina to attend Meredith College where I earned a degree in History. Shortly after graduation, I moved back to Connecticut to attend grad school at Central Connecticut State University where I earned my teaching certificate and Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I taught in public, private and charter schools for 18.5 years (divided among middle and elementary grades) until I left the classroom to homeschool our 3 boys in January of 2022. I am currently the office manager at our church, Flat Rock Baptist in Louisburg. My husband, Jeff, and I have been married 9.5 years (10 in January!), and we have 3 boys; Jackson is 15, Jameson is 9, and Jonathan is 7. This is our 3rd year as members of Compass, and we have all had such wonderful experiences. We love our pets (10!), our time with our families, and traveling (day trips, cruising and Disney!). I'm super excited to be teaching this class this year and working with the high school students and their families!
