When is co-op? |

Paideia Homeschool Co-op meets during the school year, each semester for 11-12 weeks. We meet on Thursdays from 1:00-3:30pm, for two classes and clean-up. Fall 2023- New family orientation is August 24, 1:00 at First Baptist Camdenton First day - September 7 Last day - November 16 |

What is the cost to participate? |

Cost is per semester: $25 for teachers (after your first semester you can lead a class) $50 for 1 child $75 for 2 children $90 for three or more ($90 cap??) Background check payable to First Baptist Church is $25 The first semester you are placed as a helper during classes. After your first semester if you want to lead a class you are more than welcome and you would get the teacher discount. |

Do I have to teach to participate? |
A: |
No. You do not have to teach but every family is required to participate. For those that enjoy teaching, we welcome you to teach after you have participated for more than one semester. Before that, you are assigned as a helper in a classroom. For those that are not comfortable teaching, you are welcome to remain a helper. Everyone is required to help with clean up. |

How old does my child need to be to participate? |

5 years old and older are welcome to participate in co-op. We do have nursery, preschool, PreK for younger siblings. |

I hear you have a wait list.....? |
A: |
We DO currently have a wait list. Please do not let this discourage you! Existing families sometimes stop attending co-op for a multitude of reasons and often people that are on the wait list decide not to participate when the time comes to start. |

Can Dads attend? |

Yes! All parents/guardians are welcome with a background check. We have had dads (and grandparents!) teach wonderful classes in the past! |
