Teens will check in once inside the venue. Teens will not be permitted to leave without an adult. We will have a sign in and out sheet with all guest's listed. Teens MUST sign in and out when entering or leaving the facility. At check in, teens will be provided with a wrist band.

This will be a night full of friends and fun. Music, dancing, snacks, etc.!!

Homeschool teens paying to attend the event may choose to invite friends to the event. Advanced ticket sales will continue until space is no longer available or until October 25. All tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable.

Who can attend?
Homeschool teens ages 13 can attend this dance. This event may be cross listed in various homeschool groups if space permits us to invite other homeschoolers. Chaperones will be present throughout the entire evening. Limited tickets are available due to space capacity limits at our chosen venue. Historically, these dances sell out and reach capacity before the last day to purchase tickets online. Make sure you register and pay for your ticket(s) early!

What kind of food will be served?
Each parent must bring at least one food item to share with the homeschoolers at the event. The cost for food is not included in the cost for tickets. Snack assignments will be sent out in an email prior to the dance. Snacks and drinks must be store-bought and individually wrapped. If your homeschoolers have specific food allergies or other dietary needs, please feel free to provide a safe alternative for your homeschooler.

What kind of music will be played?
Current popular music will be played during the party. All songs selected will be clean versions of songs. No songs with vulgar language or explicit content will be played.

Is there a dress code?
Teens can choose to dress up or dress casually. Dress and appearance at the party is the responsibility of the parents and teens. Please use sound judgement to ensure attire is not offensive or inappropriate. Keep in mind that this event is for ages 13 and up. Our teens love to dress up in costume and formal attire! Still other teens prefer casual clothes. Whatever makes your teen most comfortable! We will have a best dressed contest at the dance.

What types of behaviors are prohibited?
All parents and teens at the event must follow the guidelines of the Sunshine State Secular Homeschoolers at all times. No bullying at all will be allowed. We strive for an environment where all teens are safe, accepted for who they are, and included in all activities. No destructive behavior of any kind is allowed. Bullying or destructive behavior will result in an immediate removal from the dance/party. Removal or damage of decorations, games, etc. for the event is prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the venue. If the teen is asked to leave the party for these reasons, no refund of ticket purchase will be provided. If the teen was dropped off at the party the parent contact information provided on this form will be used to notify the parent that they need to return to pick up their teen. Our guidelines regarding safety, diversity, and inclusivity apply to both teens and parents.
