Welcome to West Area Park Day!
 

Come join other homeschool families and meet others in your homeschool community! We are not meant to walk through life alone... let's build one another up as we journey through this awesome adventure together.

This month will feature a Christmas book exchange and a cookie exchange!

Participate in one or both exchanges! 

Those wanting to participate in the Christmas book exchange are asked to bring a favorite Christmas book, wrapped, to exchange with another family. On the books wrapping paper write what age range the book is appropriate for. For example "Little Women" or "A Christmas Carol" would be more appropriate for families with older children. Books similar to "The Night Before Christmas" or "The Legend of the Candy Cane" would be more appropriate for families with younger children.

For the cookie exchange, bring a dozen take a dozen or even better bring a few dozen and take a few dozen cookies home. Participants are asked to bring a printed or written copy of the cookie recipe to be displayed with your cookies. This way other participants have the option to snap a picture and make your cookies at home! 

Per usual announcments and a word of encouragement will start our meeting.

Where: Wellington Village Park (Pierson Park) 11700 Pierson Road, Wellington, FL 33414; We meet at the large pavillion closest to the playground.

When: SECOND Friday of the month; August through May

Time: 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

* Parents: Announcements, word of encouragement followed by table top discussion questions and Christmas book and/or Cookie exchange.

* Kids: Play at the park.

* 6th through 12th graders: Speaker with Christmas cookie and or book exchange to follow.
