About Us
SAMPLE HOMESCHOOL GROUP
We are a sample group of homeschooling families who are working together to provide a supportive community wherein we will each be encouraged, inspired, and motivated toward excellence in our homeschooling journey. We exist to support both the parents and the students. It is our goal to share a variety of opportunities for group, family, and student involvement. We also have routine face-to-face meetings to promote relationships that will go beyond the scope of this group and will last longer than your homeschooling journey.
Monthly Meetings
We meet on the first Monday of the month for support and encouragement in a variety of homeschool issues. At these monthly meetings we also plan various activities and events for our families, such as field trips and enrichment classes. Our monthly meetings are open to everyone, with no dues. A monthly newsletter is sent via e-mail to keep everyone informed.
Homeschool Fairs / Bees
- October 22: Hobby & Art Fair
- November 19: Science Fair
- December 10: Spelling Bee
- January 14: Bible Games & Scripture Memory Night
- March 11: History Fair
- May 6: Literature Fair
Homefront
This is a study group for homeschooling parents to discuss issues that affect the homeschool family, such as child training and discpline. It is also for sharing prayer requests and developing deeper relationships with like-minded couples. Currently, we are meeting the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month, at 7PM. Childcare is available for $5/family.
