Mrs. Christine Osburn To All Instructors

Mrs. Christine Osburn earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. Before having children, she worked as a pediatric cardiac nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Christine and her family moved to Greenwood in 2009. She has been homeschooling for 12 years and is active in the local homeschool community, having taught a wide range of science, dance, musical theatre, and theology classes to kids ages 3-18 over the years.

She has 14 years of dance teaching experience and currently is on staff at Inspire Dance Company in Greenwood. She also serves as creative team member and choreographer for the Agape Theater Company.

Christine is currently obtaining a graduate degree in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio (online program).

Her greatest passion is being around kids, building them up and encouraging them in mind, soul, and body. She is not afraid to make a mess in the science lab (or, ahem, the kitchen table;), and loves explaining the innerworkings of God’s awesome creation to excited (and occasionally not so excited!) young minds.

Christine has been married to her husband, Matt, for 18 years. She is mom to Elizabeth, Jacob, Nate, Lydia and Ezra, ages 17-infant. She enjoys playing board games, swimming, traveling (national parks, the beach, and Disney World!), singing in the car, and doing crafts with her family.
