Mrs. Lauren Lenox To All Instructors
Senora Lenox discovered her God-given love for the Spanish language &
Spanish classroom when she started taking it in middle school. This love
led her to participate in the IU Honors Program in Foreign Languages in
2007, spending the summer before her senior year of high school living &
studying abroad in Ciudad Real, Spain.
She went on to major in Multi-Age (K-12) Spanish Education at Cedarville University in Ohio. During college,
she studied abroad in Seville, Spain for an entire semester. After earning
her degree in 2012, she taught World Language at a Perry Township
elementary school for 10 years. Since then, she has been enjoying teaching
Spanish to home-schooled teenagers in various co-op settings.
She aims to give her students plenty of real-life practice *speaking *Spanish, as well
as a strong academic foundation in Spanish grammar. Her favorite topics to
cover in the classroom are cultural lessons that inspire travel, mission
trips, & more.
She met her husband, Ben, at Cedarville. They have 3 beautiful young
daughters. They are active in their church & enjoy cheering on the Ohio
State Buckeyes every fall. In her free time, she enjoys listening to
audiobooks, cross-stitching & being outside with her daughters.
