Carole Joy Seid, is a veteran home school mother, who has a B.A. in fine arts and a master’s degree in education. She has taught in both public and Christian schools, spoken at numerous conventions and presently does educational consulting for families across the country. At the core of her philosophy is the secret to educational success: great books, great books and more great books.
Whether you’re just a beginner or a seasoned veteran, this seminar will bring a new perspective to your home schooling journey. Come learn how to set a course and stick to it, so your child will finish well.
The comprehensive all day seminar format provides opportunity for in-depth coverage of many topics, as well as allowing you to interject your own questions and concerns. The pace will be exhilarating yet personal. The day will consist of four workshops:
- Expanding your vision:
- What about socialization, apprenticeships, building character, service, sports, travel and the arts?
- A truly literature based education:
- Let the classics be the core of your curriculum.
- Teaching History and Christian World View
- Develop a philosophical grid through which to view society.
- Curriculum, College & Trade Preparation
- Cover the bases and help get your children into the school or career of their choice.
Cost: $45 online by April 26 (spouse attends for free)
$45 postmarked by April 22nd
$60 at the door
