Who We Are: Oaks of Righteousness (Oaks) is a cooperative
homeschooling community that meets 24 Wednesdays
throughout the school year to supplement and enhance the
work that is being done at home through shared teaching
and Christian fellowship.
We are a Christian multi-denominational group finding
commonality in the worship of one God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Our beliefs are woven throughout our teaching and meeting times. It is our hope and shared goal that our students grow up to be active in their faith and serve God in whatever vocation they find themselves. It has been the goal since our inception to keep costs low and educational standards high. It is toward this end that we serve one another by giving our time to teach as part of the co-op or assist in some capacity for the greater good. The co-op is led by a council that currently consists of six parent-members, each with specific duties and responsibilities. The council leads and directs the inner workings of the co-op.
We meet at St. Paul’s Church in Akron.
