Champion Co-op is a semester-based community of Christian homeschoolers that gather to provide fellowship and enrichment opportunities for children and students in all grades. We are not a school, nor do we provide core instruction.  Each family offers their gifts, knowledge, and resources to teach and bless each other. We offer project-based and cooperative learning experiences to enrich your education at home.  There are various learning opportunities across the curriculum, and class options change each semester.

Families who participate in the co-op must adhere to these general guidelines*:

  • An adult must stay on campus with your students at all times. We are not a drop-off.  Dad/Mom or a grandparent may fill in for you if needed as long as they can complete your regular assignment.
  • Each parent/grandparent will be required to serve two out of the three blocks during the day. This may be fulfilled by teaching a class or being an assistant. When you are not serving, you may fellowship, relax, read, or be outdoors on campus.
  • We encourage Christian fellowship on campus by avoiding all electronics. Phones, laptops, and other screens should be left at home or put away unless used for class and learning purposes. This allows us to give our undivided attention to each other and the students.
  • Each family has an end-of-the-day cleaning assignment that involves simple tasks such as wiping down tables, picking up large trash on the floor, emptying the trashcan, etc.
  • Attendance is vital to our co-op community running smoothly.  Each member is asked to plan other activities around scheduled co-op days (listed above).
