We use Homeschool Life as our primary mode of communication. All activities and their details are made available to registered members on this site. We do use facebook to communicate with not only our members, but other homeschoolers in our community. We're happy to have both resources and hope you'll choose to register for $20/year and gain full access to all our activities via Homeschool Life.
BUT FIRST!
Let's tell you a little about ourselves.
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Homeschool Group serves the Louisville Metro Area including parts of Southern Indiana, Jefferson, Oldham, Henry, Shelby, Bullitt, and surrounding Counties in Kentucky. We strive to work in a collaborative spirit with the Archdiocese of Louisville. We provide a community for our children where they can grow and socialize. Our Catholic Homeschool group honors Mary and all of the Saints under of the special patronage of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Eucharist is the center of our faith community, in accordance with the Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church. We strive to live as Jesus taught us to "love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind," and to "love your neighbor as yourself" Matthew 22: 37-39.
Our mission is to help grow Catholic families for the greater glory of God and in union with the Magisterium of the Church. We recognize and support homeschooling in a variety of forms from full home curriculum to supplemental education. We affirm parents as the primary teachers of their children.
Here's a sampling of our annual activities, all run by dedicated parents!
