Mrs. Andrea Schlottman To All Instructors

Andrea has been married to her husband, Jim, for 13 years, and they've been homeschooling their two children, Kendall and Cory, over the past five years. They've been part of Watermark for two years, and now she's excited to teach here as well!

Prior to being home with her children, Andrea worked in Civil Engineering doing Roadway Design. God has a calling on her to homeschool her children, but she is excited to be able to use her math and engineering background to take STEM subjects beyond the stereotype of boring and to show students how they are fun and practical!

Besides her professional experience, Andrea has led a kids' Lego Club outreach at CenterPointe Community Church, where she and her family have attended for 14 years. She has also taught Lego STEM to homeschoolers and coached a First Lego League team. Although homeschooling is a large part of her family's lives, Andrea also enjoys being outdoors and playing and coaching sports. She has coached youth basketball for many years, played recreational volleyball, and in their spare time, you'll often find Andrea and her family exploring, swimming, or simply enjoying the outdoors with friends.
