Nena Harris To All Instructors

Nena has homeschooled her children since 2011 and has enjoyed the adventure of learning alongside them and nourishing their love of learning. She has also been active in the local SC homeschool community as a tutor and director, most recently in the high school levels across multiple subjects. Nena enjoys engaging students in scientific discovery and fostering logical thinking. As writing is essential in communicating our thoughts and actions, she looks forward to bringing her experiences of research, writing, and editing skills into the classroom. 

Nena has degrees in nursing up to the doctoral level and has been an assistant professor teaching graduate nurses since 2006. She is certified as a Classical Master Teacher by the CiRCE Institute. She looks forward to teaching in the Central Church Co-op and engaging with young minds of our congregation.
