Mrs. Lauren Lenox To All Instructors

I discovered my God-given love for the Spanish language & Spanish classroom in 7th grade when I started taking it in middle school. This love led me to participate in the IU Honors Program in Foreign Languages in 2007, spending the summer before my senior year of high school living & studying abroad in Ciudad Real, Spain. I went on to major in Multi-Age (K-12) Spanish Education at Cedarville University in Ohio. During my time in college, I studied abroad in Seville, Spain for a whole semester.  After earning my degree in 2012, I taught World Language at a Perry Township elementary school for 10 years. My 1st-5th grade students would rotate through my classroom for Spanish instruction about once a week. I am now a (mostly) stay-at-home-mom, although I keep busy teaching Spanish for SCHA & the LifePoint Church LEAD co-op, as well as coaching Varsity cheerleading at Perry Meridian High School.

My husband Ben & I met at Cedarville. We have 3 beautiful young daughters who keep us on our toes! We are active in our church & enjoy cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes every fall. We choose not to homeschool our children, but I love teaching Spanish to homeschool students. I look forward to continuing what Mrs. O'Malley has established at SCHA.
