Membership Information
Joining EPIC is easy:
1. Read over the EPIC membership requirements to see if EPIC is a good fit for your family.
2. Click the "Click To Join" button at the bottom of this page.
3. Fill out the application form with your family details. When filling out the application, we encourage parents to provide detailed information to ensure we can align their skills and interests with the needs of both their family and the EPIC community.
3. Submit the application, and our leadership team will review your application and be in contact to set up a meet and greet. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know your family better, discuss your vision for homeschooling, and explore how you can actively participate in the EPIC community.
Membership Requirements
1. Agreement with Statement of Faith
All members are required to uphold and respect the EPIC Statement of Faith. It is expected that teachings and discussions within the co-op align with these principles.
2. Active Participation and "All Hands on Deck" Attitude
Members are expected to actively participate during co-op hours with an "all hands on deck" attitude. As we start up, your involvement is crucial for the success of our co-op.
3. Community Support and Collaboration
Members commit to a spirit of collaboration and mutual support for the betterment of our children and the community. Together, we create an environment where every family thrives.
4. Class Contribution
Members are strongly encouraged to submit information on classes they are willing to teach for the upcoming semester. This collaborative approach allows us to offer a diverse range of classes. Classes can be anything from a Lego class to chemistry, get creative and teach what you love!
5. Class Selection Through Member Vote
Members will have the opportunity to vote on the classes they would like to see offered. This ensures that our co-op curriculum is reflective of the interests and needs of our community.
Membership Fees
- Family Membership Fee: $50 per family
- Student Fee (Ages 0-12): $10 per student ($5 per class)
Class Fees
- Students Ages 13 and above will have specific class fees based on the chosen courses.
