Statement of Faith

Statement of Faith

1. The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.  It is Authoritative for all of life. (2 Timothy 3:16; Joshua 1:8)

2.  There is only one God and He has existed from all eternity in three entities; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16, 17; Matthew 28:19)

3. Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, only without sin. (John 1:1,14; Hebrews 4:15)

4. All men (excepting Christ) have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  (Romans 3:23)

5.  Jesus Christ came to save sinners through His perfect life, substitutionary death, and bodily resurrection. (Matthew 1:21;1 Corinthians 15:1-3)

6. Salvation is given to all who repent of their sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and obey the Gospel. (Romans 10:9-13; 2 Thessalonians 1:8)

7.  No amount of good words is adequate to save a person from their sin. (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5)

8. We believe that the term "marriage" has only one meaning; the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in scripture (Genesis 2:18-25)

9. We believe that God wonderfully and immutably created each person as either male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen. 1:26-27)

Our preference is that all members would be in agreement with this Statement of Faith.  However, if someone wants to be a member and is not in agreement, they can participate, but must NOT contradict this statement either by word or deed.
