Scheduling classes for next school year began in April.

The final list will be available at the mandatory parent meetings in July:

Saturday, July 13^th (choose one) – 2-4 p.m. @ Lakeside Worship Center (1801 Ring Road, Elizabethtown)

Saturday, July 13th, 8 pm- Early Class Registration opens for all Teachers.  

Tuesday, July 16^th (choose one) – 6-8 p.m. @ Severns Valley Baptist Church (1100 Ring Road, Elizabethtown)

Wednesday, July 17th, 8 am- Class registration opens for all FAITH members who attended a parent meeting.  

FAITH Academics Vision

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” I Peter 4:10

The vision of the FAITH Academics Program is to work together cooperatively to support one another as we strive for:

• Academic Excellence –Academics classes are designed to foster academic excellence in the students. Social interaction is not our primary.
• Character Development – We strive to promote strong character by requiring students to adhere to Godly behavior and personal accountability.
• Greater Opportunities – Academics students are encouraged to participate in essay and speech contests sponsored by the VFW, Optimist Club, and Rotary Club, as well as other opportunities as they come along.
• Increased Credibility –Academics allows parents to issue transcripts with input and grades from outside sources.
• College Preparation – Students involved in Academics are enrolled in classes designed to help them prepare for college classes. In addition, the structure of Academics is similar to college in that students meet once weekly and complete the bulk of their work independently. Previous Academics students have stated this helped them transition to college schedules more easily than some of their public-schooled peers.

FAITH Academics Overview

FAITH Academics is a cooperative program designed to enhance the homeschool experience in education. Our goal is to offer accountability along with helpful instruction for each student enrolled in Academics.

As a cooperative program, it requires participation from EVERY PARENT who chooses to enroll their student(s) in the program. Instructors are not paid and are dedicating countless hours to making this program a worthwhile experience for every student enrolled. With that in mind, we ask you not to enroll your child if you cannot commit to working at least 40 hours throughout the school year.

Academics meets every Tuesday for 32 weeks in order to help keep students on track as they complete their work at home. These classes are not meant to take the place of the parent as the primary instructor. Parents are still expected to ensure their student is completing all assigned work and to assist their student in any way needed.
