RECORD KEEPING RESOURCES
A variety of resources have been used by our homeschoolers as aids in lesson planning and record keeping. Here are a few.
Homeschool Tracker is premier record keeping software. Handles subjects and courses, report cards, weighted grading, transcripts, your entire home library, lesson planning, chores, field trips, and more. Watch videos explaining the software. There is a bit of a learning curve to get up to speed with this software, but the productivity gained is worth it.
Home School Tracker has an active user forum that is open to non-users. They offer a fully functional, but limited version of the software completely free.
This site is a treasure trove of organizational helps and lesson plans for the busy homeschooler. If you are a pencil and paper person you will especially appreciate the many, many, free, download-able forms, planners, attendance recorders, transcript planners, etc. This link takes you to the calendar page.
Download an Excel (.xls) file to calculate grade point averages here.
