When do you meet? |

We meet on Fridays from 9:15 a.m. - 12:00 noon in Mayfield, KY. We meet for ten weeks during the fall semester and ten weeks during the spring semester. |

When are new members accepted? |

New members are accepted around June for the Fall semester and November for the Spring semester. Exact dates are announced on this website and on the Facebook page. |

What are the membership and class fees and when are they due? |
A: |
Membership fees are paid at the beginning of each semester. Membership fees go towards facility use, co-op field trips, and co-op events.

Who is eligible to participate in the co-op? |
A: |
Families whose oldest child will be at least 5 years old and beginning kindergarten at the start of the fall semester are eligible for co-op participation. |

May I drop off my child and come back to get them at the end of co-op? |
A: |
No. All parents are required to stay and participate in co-op classes. |

Is co-op designed to replace instruction I was going to do at home? |
A: |
No. Co-op is designed as a way to develop friendships, gain support, and to provide a fun classes for co-op families in addition to instruction done in the home. |

What do the parents do during co-op? |
A: |
All parents are given an assignment for each class period at co-op. Job assignments may include teaching or assisting in a class, helping in the nursery, security at the door, etc. There are no free periods for parents. |

How many classes can my child register for at co-op? |

We have three teaching class periods each week at co-op. The first period class meets from 9:30-10:15 a.m. The second period class meets from 10:20 - 11:05 a.m. The third period class meets from 11:10 - 11:55 a.m. |

What classes are offered each semester? |
A: |
Our classes are taught by parents who have participated in co-op for at least one semester. Each semester, the classes offered are different and are not decided until after family registration is over. Our classes are influenced by the ideas, talents, and interests of our co-op parents so no two semesters are the same. |

What happens if there is inclement weather on a co-op day? |

GCHE Co-Op will not meet if Graves County Schools have been cancelled or delayed. For updated info, please check the GCHE Co-op Facebook page.

How do I join co-op? |
A: |
In the upper right corner of this website is an icon of a person with a plus sign next to it. Click on that icon and fill out the registration information. The icon is only available during the new family registration period. Exact registration dates are announced on this website and on the Facebook page. New families are accepted as space allows. You will be notified via email of your acceptance. |
