FAQs

Q:

What are the requirements for membership?

A:

  • You are homeschooling at least one child - we realize not all children in a home are always home-schooled.
  • After the first year - each member must take ownership of a specific activity and see it through to completion.
  • A $70.00 annual membership fee
  • Regular attendance and membership at a church whose doctrinal statement agrees with ours.

Our Doctrinal Statement is as follows:

A. We believe the Bible, in the original writings, is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God and that it has been faithfully preserved for us today.
B. We believe in the one true God, manifesting Himself through three distinct persons: Father,
Son and Holy Spirit.
C. We believe in the person of the Devil and the reality of demons.
D. We believe God created and organized the universe in six, literal 24 hour days.
E. We believe in the fallen, sinful condition of all mankind.
F. We believe in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone.
G. We believe that whom the Lord saves, that person is saved forever.
H. We believe that the new birth begins a new nature to the believer that creates a conflict with the old, sinful nature. The new nature can rule in the believer.
I. We believe a Christian should live a holy lifestyle separate from sinful practices.
J. We believe the saved will live forever in heaven and the unsaved will consciously exist forever in the lake of fire.
K. We believe that the church and Israel are distinct.
L. We believe in two church ordinances: baptism by immersion and communion worship.
M. We believe in the necessity of evangelism and missions.
N. We believe that the role of
pastor / teacher is reserved for men only in the local church.
O. We believe that the sign gifts of tongues, prophesying, and healing
were active in the first century church and have primarily ceased.
P. We believe in the virgin birth, physical death, resurrection, ascension into heaven and future return of Jesus Christ in bodily form to establish His kingdom
with a new heaven and a new earth.
