Q: |
What this Co-op is not... |
A: |
- In order to keep expenses low and encourage community, we are not a “drop-off” co-op. All parents/guardians must stay on site the entire time during co-op.
- We are not a daycare. There must be at least 1 child in kindergarten or higher in order for the family to participate.
- We are not a secular co-op. Our Christian, Bible-based faith will be reflected in our curriculum choices, our activities and the way we treat each other.

Q: |
What does a typical Co-op day look like? |
A: |
- We will meet Tuesdays (after Labor Day) from 9:30-12pm at Camp Bethel in Wise, VA.
- After Co-op is over, families are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and to stay to fellowship in the picnic area across from The Outpost.
- There will be 2-3 class options per block, with most likely 3 blocks. All will depend on how many kids register and ages and what their interests are, as well as teacher availability.
- We'll be using the former daycare, outdoor area, greenhouse, and large building beyond the daycare. Please stay in these areas unless other arrangements are made.
- We'd like to have a nature focus in several classes if there is interest and to take advantage of the outdoor space at camp.
