Do you provide transcripts or grades?

As a homeschooling resource, we empower parents to undertake the role of educators, including the responsibility for assessment and grading. While we do not issue formal transcripts or grades, we support families in this process.

Do you file with the state on my behalf?

No, our structure does not involve filing obligations on behalf of homeschooling families. We encourage parents to navigate state requirements independently or explore alternative educational options, such as public charter schools.

Are families required to attend Bethel Baptist Church?

They are not! We do appreciate partnering with Bethel Baptist Church to use their space during the week and expect students to treat the space with respect.

Why do you mix multiple grades in your classes?

Our decision to incorporate multiple grade levels stems from our belief that it fosters a dynamic learning environment conducive to both academic growth and the development of leadership skills among students of varying abilities.

Do you provide lunch?

No, we encourage families to provide packed lunches for their children during their time with us. There are a Trader Joes and Jimbo’s nearby!

Do you regulate peanuts or tree nuts on campus?

While we do not enforce specific dietary restrictions, we kindly request vendors to ensure nut-free environments during instructional hours, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all students.

What's the program's cost?

A:

Our fee structure is tailored to accommodate varying class selections and financial considerations. A semester membership fee grants access to our program, with additional class fees payable directly to respective vendors.

Can I use charter funds to pay for my 10x Learning Center membership?

No, our program does not accept charter funds for membership payments, maintaining our commitment to financial integrity and transparency.

Can I access charter vendor classes without 10x Learning Center membership?

A:

While membership in 10x Learning Center offers additional program benefits, such as access to our broader offerings and supervision, participation in charter vendor classes remains accessible to all interested individuals.

Can I switch classes mid-semester?

Unfortunately, class changes are not feasible once the semester has commenced, ensuring stability and continuity in our educational offerings.

Can I drop a class after it starts?

While we understand the need for flexibility, our commitment to vendors necessitates that full semester tuition remains due even in the event of class withdrawal after commencement.

How is community cultivated at 10x Learning Center?

A:

Community is key to homeschooling success. 10x Learning Center offers field trips, chapel, campus celebrations, class plays, off-campus meetups, and more. Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times are also great opportunities for families to connect.

Who is the “school of record” for my student when enrolled with 10x Learning Center?

A:

Parents remain the primary educators. 10x Learning Center provides an instructional model and issues progress reports but does not hold permanent student records. Families should be familiar with local homeschooling regulations for keeping educational records.

Our Education Team selects curriculum based on academic rigor, accessibility, standards, accessibility, enjoyment, and transition ease.

Is mask-wearing mandatory?

A:

It is not! While we respect personal choices, we do require individuals to stay home if feeling unwell.

Q:

Should your student take standardized exams?

A:

Standardized testing is not required in California, but we recommend it for monitoring and adjusting your child’s performance at the national level. Also, having your students take the ACT or SATs during high school will make your student’s application competitive when applying for colleges.

Can tuition be transferred from one student to another?

A:

No, tuition is non-transferable to another student’s or family’s account.

Q:

Does 10x Learning Center have a dress code.

A:

Yes, kind of. As a conservative environment,clothing should cover the body appropriately, avoiding overly revealing, offensive, discriminatory, or suggestive attire. Students are expected to comply with the dress code during school hours and at school-sponsored events. If they are not, they are expected to change into clothing that the school can provide, or they will be asked to be picked up by their parents.

Is 10x Learning Center an exclusively Christian program?

A:

So long as the student is a good fit for the community, we accept anyone willing to learn that agrees with the vision statement of 10x Learning Center, its membership agreement, and Code of Conduct.

Q:

Are the vendors at 10x Learning Center Christian?

A:

Vendors at 10x Learning Center sign a statement of faith that aligns with the Nicene Creed and orthodox Christian values, but exclusively teach the content of their course.
