Our Purpose
Raising & Educating Arrows Christian Homeschoolers (REACH) is organized for the purpose of establishing a volunteer, non-profit homeschool organization, serving North Texas communities.
We want to provide support, meetings, newsletters, enrichment classes, field trips, activities, homeschool resources, fellowship, ministry opportunities, and venues for homeschool children to present their accomplishments, where our first priority is to glorify God and pursue Godly character.
Our Mission
We are a community of people intentionally partnering together to raise and educate our children for courageous living through Christ.
This statement will be the guiding principle for decision-making and issue resolution.
A little about REACH...
We meet on Fridays at Parkway Chruch in McKinney. Our coop model is not a drop-off program. All of our moms serve each other and our kids in different ways based on our talents. For every hour your students are in a class, you are serving somewhere. It could be teaching, co-teaching, grading, setup/cleanup, administrative help, etc. But every mom does get an hour to spend time relaxing with other moms and build community. We call this Mom's Community Hour.
Your family's schedule will vary based on the classes you choose to take. During the registration period, the registered parents have a say in what classes are offered. So, if there is a class your student needs/wants or a class you like teaching, we add it to the list.
