Welcome to Nassau County Home Educator Support Group (NCHE)!

We want to make sure this is the right homeschool group for you. Please read the following and if you agree this group is the right fit, complete and submit the application below.

NCHE is a Christian homeschool support group that exists to help foster community and support its members on their homeschool journey. All are welcome into our group and you do not need to be a Christian, but please understand that our group is governed by Judeo-Christian Biblical values adhering to the historical tenants of the Christian faith. Our field trips, activities and co-ops will tend to be faith based. We ask that you respect that Christianity is the foundation of NCHE and that our board members' decisions and bylaws are based on this foundation. NCHE events are safe and appropriate for families and children of all ages. We ask that each family practice good behavior, respect others, and dress modestly. Parents must take responsibility for their own children and others under their care, ensuring they behave in a manner that will enable all to enjoy and benefit from the event.

One of our main goals as a homeschool support group is to foster community. In order for that to happen, you must remain contactable during your membership year. Also, check your emails regularly so you will not miss important, time sensitive information.

NCHE is a group where everyone pitches in. Many hands make light work so we require each family to plan a field trip or help organize one of NCHE's large annual events each year. If you are unable to plan a field trip or assist with an event, you may choose to pay a $50 fee instead, which will go toward organizing an event.

NCHE has a wonderful library full of curriculum, books & manipulatives available to NCHE members. We do require families to pay or replace any lost or unreturned library materials.

Please complete your application in its entirity, including home address, all children's names (first & last) and birthdates. You do NOT need to provide a grade level. You will also need to submit the $25.00 Membership Fee as soon as possible upon completion of the form so that your membership can be approved.

Your membership is valid from now until June 30th.

Forum emails are the main form of communication for all our members. It is important that you recieve them quickly so you do not miss important, time sensitive information. Below you will see a section of yes or no questions labeled "Forum Emails." Our policy is that ALL members check the "YES" button on the first question, "Would you like to recieve forum notifications via email?" It is then up to each member if they would rather receive those emails "IMMEDIATELY" or "ONCE A DAY" by selecting their preference in the "Many Emails" or " Daily Digest" questions that follow.

Payment Instructions

Membership for NCHE is $25.00. The easiest and quickest way to submit your payment is by clicking the "Sign In and Pay Now" button located on the next page. You will automatically be redirected there once you click "Continue" below. When you click the "Sign In and Pay Now" button you will be given limited access to your account so that you can pay via PayPal.

You will also recieve an email that contains a "Pay Now" button at the bottom if you choose not to pay with the "Sign In and Pay Now Button."

If you prefer to pay by check, please make your check payable to NCHE and send to our treasurer, Alisa Burbo, 96137 Prestige Lane, Yulee, FL 32097.
