Mission Statement
We are a Protestant Christian parent-led organization that offers a variety of academic and enrichment classes with a primary focus on Junior High and High School courses. We provide Protestant Christian home school families with a cooperative, economical learning environment to supplement their home school experience. Above all, we strive to glorify God.
About us
We Are: Protestant Christian homeschool families, with at least one child being 8 years of age or older, who want a cooperative learning environment to supplement their homeschooling experience.
We Meet: 29 Wednesdays a year with the fall semester beginning in mid-August and the spring semester beginning in mid-January in Northwest Houston.
We Offer: A variety of classes at a low cost and provide fellowship and fun for all involved.
We Cost: The current Family Fee is $400 (2023-24) split into two payments of $200 each, plus additional class fees.
We Make It Work: Over 40 Families come together to Assist, Inspire and Teach our Homeschooler
Statement of Faith
We, the Board, Leadership Team, Teachers, and all Approved Members of FAITH of Northwest Houston Believe:
The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, divinely preserved Word of God, the supreme and final authority for all faith and life.
That there is one living and true God; an infinite, intelligent Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence but eternally subsistent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, and His imminent bodily return in power and glory.
That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict mankind, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
That salvation is the free gift of God brought to the sinner by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary death on the cross paid the penalty for man's sin.
That man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only those who put their faith in Jesus Christ alone, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, can be saved.
That God designed marriage as an exclusive, covenantal relationship between one man and one woman.
That God designed each person, male and female, as His masterpiece without mistake.
That God's love never fails.
Schedule
Wednesdays begin with an Opening Assembly at 8:50 a.m. with Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance and announcements all included in this 10-minute time of fellowship and preparation for the day.
Four eighty-minute class periods are offered with a 35-minute lunch break between the second and third periods. The day concludes at 3:20 p.m. when participants clean the FAITH buildings.
Throughout the FAITH year, additional events and activities are scheduled to provide opportunities for fellowship.
Parental Involvement
Classes are parent-taught. With the rich pool of talent found among our homeschooling parents, a selection of academic and enrichment classes are planned to meet the needs of the families using those talents and abilities.
At least one parent per family must be involved during the periods his/her children are in classes.
We are NOT a drop-off co-op. Parents are assigned to teach, assist, or have administrative duties during the periods of his/her children’s involvement.
Parents with children in Early Childhood classes must teach or assist in EC classes a minimum of 1 period per child in these age groups.
Member families will be selected to serve on the Set-up or Reset Teams.

We invite new members in the springtime for the upcoming school year. The application process involves multiple steps to be fulfilled by every family requesting membership.
