Nurture Kitsap Homeschool Community (previously North Kitsap Homeschool Community) has been in Kitsap County for over ten years; however, we have moved and changed over time. Our fully parent-run co-op serves families with students ages 5-18 and their younger siblings

The Nurture program is for our 5-10 year olds. It is a well-established enrichment-based group that includes space for younger siblings. This year, we have some great classes lined up for our elementary students, including Dinosaurs Rock! Paleontology and Geology, Medieval History, and Astronomy.

As our co-op has grown and aged, we have more middle and high schoolers, so we developed our new Thrive program to support our older students 11-12 (Bears) and 13+ (Eagles). Understanding that our older students have different needs and interests, we have academic, enrichment, and social classes for our Thrive students. Examples are US Government & Comparative Federalism (academic), Photography (enrichment), and D&D (social).
