The Homeschool Chess and Game Club plans to meet the 2nd Friday of every month, September through March, from 1-3 pm. Participants are asked to bring their own traditional board and card games which may include chess, checkers, Scrabble, Uno, Bible Challenge, Quick Six: Game of Elements, Battleship, Jenga, etc. Before the games begin we will open with a short prayer, thanking God for bringing us together and to keep us safe, and help us through the rest of the day; a short devotion will also be read with opportunity for discussion.
The age range for the club is 12 and up with a cap of 20 participants. It is requested for participants to sign up/register prior to attending. Participants will supply their own snacks and drinks and clean up after themselves prior to leaving the event. Parents of children who are under 18 are asked to stay on the premises unless prior arrangements have been made with your child(ren).
