Sign up: all attendees – students and adults. This is a free field trip; if you are unable to attend, you must let the coordinator know at least two hours prior of the event, or a $5 no-show fee will be billed to your account.

The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra is back and just as fun as ever. These educational concerts, presented free for teachers and students, will feature performances by the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra and will be hosted by Gregory Woodbridge, HSO Associate Conductor, and Stuart Malina, HSO Music Director.
For their Spring Young Person’s Concert, they will present Carnegie Hall’s Link Up: The Orchestra Sings! Featuring “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s ninth symphony, The Finale from Stravinsky’s “The Firebird,” and selections from Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World,” this interactive concert will have students singing and playing along with the orchestra from their seats. This concert includes side-by-side performances by members of the HSO, the Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestra, guest singers, and a student choir from local schools.
Children younger than 3rd and older than 8th may attend.
