Membership requirements:
- Military affiliation - active, retired military, or DOD family,
- Homeschooling at least one child who has turned four (4) years old by September 30th of that year.
- Live in the area presently.
- A background check will need to be conducted (secuirty clearances DO NOT qualify).
There is an Annual Non-Refundable Membership Fee of $60 per family per school year. Our school year runs from June 1st-May 31st.
This membership fee covers our private organizatoin's insurance cost, website fees, Google Workplace fees, and other fees the group may incur over the course of the year.
Our membership fee gives your family access to all support group activities which include field trips, co-op (space available), clubs, holiday parties, our lending library (microscopes, books, IEW manuals, etc.), park days, parent's night out etc. There may be additional fees tied to these activities depending on what your family choses to participate in.
You must pay this fee to the Treasurer by cash or check within 7 days of your acceptance to the FBHE Group.
It is due annually in June for the upcoming calendar year. Members joining late in the school year (April-May) dues will not be paid until the turnover of the year, June 1st. (Membership fee is non-refundable).
If payment is not received, you will be taken off the list and cannot participate in the group activities. You may request to join again at any time but will need to pay the Membership Fee before being approved for full membership.
Members must hold a military/DoD identification card. Members must complete a background check.
This group may require other information or dues before approving website membership.
