Elise Duval Werger To All Instructors

Elise Duval Werger has taught students from first grade through college in both academic and informal settings. She developed a fascination with the everyday experiences of early Americans while employed as a historical interpreter at a New England living history museum. She is now in her twelfth year of homeschooling her three daughters. She enjoys the challenge of tailoring her lessons to the learning styles of her students and seeing them make new connections in their learning.

Elise graduated from Holy Cross College in Massachusetts and has done graduate studies at Harvard University and the University of Tennessee. She holds a Master's Degree in Philosophy/Medical Ethics.

When not teaching, Elise enjoys making therapy dog visits with her rescue dog Frodo and being a foster "mom" to down-and-out doggies through Pet Haven of Minnesota.
