Benjamin Klein To All Instructors



Ben Klein is a professional musician, educator, and composer based in the Twin Cities. He received a Ph.D. in music composition from the University of Minnesota, an MA in music composition and experimental music from Wesleyan University, and a BMus in music theory and tuba performance from Lawrence University. As a composer and a performer, Ben specializes in contemporary, experimental, and electro-acoustic music. He has taught music theory, composition, music technology, and tuba performance at a number of institutions including the University of Minnesota, Lawrence University, Anoka Ramsey Community College, Concordia University, and the St. Joseph School of Music. Ben is currently active as a composer, educator, and arts advocate through the 113 Composers Collective.
