Release from Liability

We thank you for participating in the EXEL Coop. In exchange for participating in the EXEL Coop we require that you agree to sign this release of liability.

Participation in the EXEL Coop involves the risk of injury to you or your family, whether you or someone else causes it. Specific risks vary from one activity to another and the risks range from minor injuries to major injuries/death. In consideration of your participation in the activities offered EXEL Coop, you understand and voluntarily accept this risk and agree that EXEL Coop and the church (Lakeside Baptist Church, 1291 Old Kaufman Rd, Canton, TX 75103) will not be liable for any injury, including, without limitation, personal, bodily, or mental injury, economic loss or any damage to you resulting from the negligence of EXEL Coop or anyone on the education cooperative's behalf or to anyone whether related to educational activities or not.

Except as otherwise provided herein, this Release contains the entire agreement between EXEL Coop and its members and their families or with visitors or other participating in the cooperative related to this subject matter. All parties understand that this release supersedes all prior waiver of liability. This Release may not be changed or modified, except by the written agreement of EXEL Coop.

This Release shall be governed by, and enforced in accordance with, the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to the application of the principles of conflicts of laws.
