Chipola Home Educators (CHE)

Chipola Home Educators (CHE), located in Jackson County Florida, is a Christian Homeschool Support Group. We are open to all families in the surrounding area that wish to join us and don’t mind traveling a bit to meet up. Enrollment in CHE is open year-round. Our families are enjoying a lifestyle of curiosity and learning. CHE members are not organized around a particular curriculum or teaching style. We recognize that each family knows what works best for them.

Our mission is to enrich the educational and social quality of each homeschooling family by providing encouragement, support, and guidance for parents.

We offer monthly field trips, playdates for littles, park days, teen exclusive events,  and monthly classes. Our classes have included art, cooking, science experiments and outside games to build team skills. Our fieldtrips are usually monthly and include educational and just fun. All events are posted on our private calendar and all group members have access to all events. (With the note that teen events are specific to teens and are clearly marked to avoid confusion.)

Our group is unique in that we are very flexible and you choose which events you attend by signing up for the events on the private member website. There is no requirement to attend every event.

CHE also provides a private Facebook group in which we share ideas, encouragement, and reminders of events.

Chipola Home Educators' annual dues are $30 per family.
