Christy Sattler To All Instructors

Christy Sattler was born and raised outside of Cleveland, Ohio. She has a B.S in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her professional work was in pediatrics prior to moving to Lynchburg (in 1996). She homeschooled her daughters and during those years, utilized the support from several homeschool organizations, including Home Front Educators and ACA. Christy led biology classes for older elementary children for many years with Home Front Educators as well as a few upper level advanced-biology classes. She tutored at ACA in 2008-09 and again in the years 2012-2014. Since then, Christy has been ministering with her local church (Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church), volunteering at the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center and spending time with her family, including 2 granddaughters. Christy returned to tutoring at ACA in 2020 and enjoys sharing the glories of God’s creation with her students.
