Home Educators of Southwest Mississippi is a members-only Christian social group created to encourage, support, and enhance home education. Our primary location (but not limited to) is Southwest Mississippi consisting of Lincoln, Lawrence, Walthall, Pike, Franklin, Amite, and Copiah counties. Our goal is to offer help with Mississippi educational laws and to provide educational and social opportunities for our members. Membership allows access to many fun and exciting events for our homeschool families.
We offer a weekly social meet up aka “Open Gym”, competitive sports (basketball, cross country, & cheerleading), intramural volleyball & basketball, kindergarten and senior graduations, field trips, holiday parties, dances, prom, Jr. & Sr. Beta Club, annual yearbook, & much more.
