Who We Are

 

Axis is a mission of South Lake Christian Church in Groveland, Florida.  

We offer group support and encouragement to our community of homeschoolers through field trips, educational events, social events, meet ups, a full day of co-op classes for students K-12 (nursery/ preschool options for younger siblings), resale curriculum events, MNO's, workshops for parents, and more. 

It is our desire at Axis to lock arms with fellow homeschoolers and encourage one another to find or further develop our gifts and talents. We encourage our members to create opportunities to put those talents and gifts to work, pouring into our community and glorifying God. This can be done in many ways, from academics to the arts and everything in between. We are passionate about nurturing lifelong learners with servant hearts, and encourage parents (and grandparents!) to share their gifts as well!

 Co-op Information

 

Mondays &Tuesdays @South Lake Christian Church

Announcements:  9:30am

1st Period: 9:40 -10:30

2nd Period: 10:40 -11:30

LUNCH

3rd Period: 12:30 -1:20

4th Period: 1:30 - 2:20pm

Our families make this co-op work!  Many hands make light work. We are not a drop off. Parents are required to remain on campus and serve in some capacity while their students are in classes, whether it be teaching, serving in our cafe, cleaning, setting up, etc... Volunteer assignments are made based on current needs of the group and of course interest and ability of our volunteers. 

 

One Day of Co-op is included in the registration fee. 
    

Co-op classes are taught by volunteers and vary from year to year. Some classes may require class fees, specific books, and supplies. Please refer to the class descriptions on the schedule for that information. You will have access to this information once your registration is approved.
